That has to be a typo...look at the PTA.

I really get confused with all the acronyms you all seem to love so much. Including movie titles (other countries often get other titles, often enought without the same letters).

I get that the chart's detail is faulty via ~ the decimal place without calculating it, but for what stands PTA?

Per Theater Average.

Thank you ver much

Hmmm, BOM says at Friday in 50 locations, Saturday in 903, Sunday in 183

Didn't someone tell last week about a crazy release schedule / pattern for that movie? Especially in middle sized to smaller towns?

That could be it, but I just figured it was a typo the way BOM has been going these days. Box Office.com backs up those numbers. Weird way of releasing a movie, but it is pretty niche, so I guess I shouldn't be that surprised.

Sadly I can totally understand that, as I don't trust BOM about a lot of details anymore.

They seem to be e.g a bit bad about OS details, if the release date is not that actual

Someone told about a - I think it was the year to date? - chart, where a movie 'lost' $400m = the sum of the time-slot / time-span and as such the comparisons... are wrong

Many showings are one-night-only, only at certain locations. It all depends.

NCM and Screenvision have done things like this before (DBZ: Battle of Gods, the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls pilot movie), but they don't always get reported on the BO charts.
