Disney Stock Falls 1.4% after Alice 2 Bombs

Recommended Posts

There are also things going on regarding the Shanghai resort and rival parks (Wanda) owned by Wang Jianlin, which I believe has larger influence. In addition there is the monthly Fed speculation. So I would not blame Alice for this drop [emoji4]

Disney is a large company. Alice bomb does not affect their stock. After Star Wars episode VII was release Disney stocked dropped.

That's because they anticipated TFA being huge, so the stock was already at a high level. No one forsaw Alice 2 flopping so hard.

No.  Nearly Everyone saw Alice 2 flopping at some level or another.  I only just barely put it in my summer game because I thought my under 100m predict would be pushing it to far.

The stock drop is not from Alice 2.  Disney is having an ESPN and Shanghai problem.

I don't think it was expected to be quite this bad, though. Perhaps it's a perfect storm type thing.
