Before the Flood is a terrifying documentary that really displays just how serious a danger climate change is to our world. Leonardo DiCaprio takes on this tumultuous journey, interviewing many people well-versed in the environmental disaster currently occurring to Earth. Fisher Stevens, along with his writer and editors Monroe, Banks, Richman, Sofsky, Sozanski paint a picture to match DiCaprio's simultaneously soothing and alarming words that will convince anyone about the need to fight climate change. Before the Flood is an excellent documentary, exposing a major complex threat to humanity in a staggering simple way.

just the basics, simplistically told (occasionally jumps facts for sensationalism). gets the job done i suppose. message needs to be gotten out there and i'm glad the flick ended up with a lot of eyes on it for that but there are much stronger films on a form level out there for the subject matter.
