baumer
this morning the madness begins lol HMB looks like around 640k,well did think 600 was more realistic than 500-550 that was roughly being worked out TRANSLATION: as we (RTH and me) were sitting on a patio in downtown Toronto across from the film festival activities yesterday, he did some math and thought that The hitman's Bodyguard would come in at around 525. He's happy to report that the night business picked up a lot more than anticipated. So $640,000 is the Wednesday number for The hitman's Bodyguard.

grim22
640k would be the lowest a movie has made in dailies for the #1 spot since Lawless in September 2012.

a2k
DUNKIRK's 12% drop on Wed is great because it's not like it had a horrible Tuesday compared to other movies and is just making up for it : (tuesday drops) Movie Distributor Gross Change Thtrs. a2k
ANNA2 is 8m from the century mark. Thu should take a decent hit thanks to IT previews : 15% drop from Wed gives 0.390m for 92.35m. That's 7.65m away from 100m. Then going a bit pessimistic, 63% drop over the weekend gives 2.75m for 95.1m cume and 4.9m away from 100m. 2.1 over the next whole week (0.7 Mon-Thu + 1.25 weekend = 2.1 Mon-Sun) 97.05m cume 1.0 over the following Mon-Sun (0.4 Mon-Thu + 0.6 weekend) 98.05m cume 0.60 the following Mon-Sun for 98.65m 0.35 the following Mon-Sun for 99.0m At this stage the dollar bump can give it 100m. Even if WB needs to fudge it would be a small dignified fudge (unlike the embarrassing one PASS had). Edited September 7, 2017 by a2knet
