First of all.....this thing was a struggle to listen to, from the accents (Jesus Christ, someone please help my fave. I beg of you. You're my only hope) to the overly dramatic music that was WAY too fucking loud during goddamn talking scenes, to the hurricane.

 

Second...

 

A bunch of people who live in a shit hole town plot to steal money that's just going to be destroyed....and you want me to root for the military rednecks and the government shill? Really? 

 

Most of it wasn't even stupid entertaining like Geostorm, bits were. I can relate to living in a shithole southern town that's not too far from Gulfport anyway. Though I will give props that the action scenes are way better.

I enjoyed it, quite a bit actually.  Rob Cohen knows how to direct the shit out of an action movie and Maggie Grace is easy on the eyes, add those two things together and you have a good time at the movies.  Some of the acting is pretty bad but if what you are interested in is some excellent storm footage, lots of great action, bad guys getting swept away by gale force winds and some cliched but fun bad guys, then this is the movie for you.  I'd see it again, just a good time at the movies.

My Mom loved this. I thought it felt like a Sci-Fi — Sorry, SyFy original I would watch at 2am on Saturday’s morning.  Solid third act.

I saw this and enjoyed it. I wish it were more diehard in the vault rather than throughout the streets with crappy shooting. I doubt you can walk on trucks and overtake them in any reality. And then the film just ended. it was Weak, but enjoyable none the less.
