"Please welcome, Academy Award nominee and star of Horsin' Around, Will Arnett!"

Will: Uh, it's BoJack Horseman that's the star of Horsin' Around, I'm just the guy who voices BoJack! Anyway, music is, like, super important to film because they uh... make us feel things. Yeah, that's right. Feel things. We'll go with that.

The nominees for Best Original Score are...

Jon Brion & Richard Vreeland - Notes From the Otherspace

James Newton Howard - The Scavenger Wars

We gotta go on a bit of a break after that runaway train collision, folks, here's a preview of Treasure Planet: Gauntlet of Midas

---------------------------------

Endless Entertainment

(this is edited down for television purposes)

We open in some kind of intergalactic bar. We see Jim Hawkins (Logan Lerman), Kate Starstrike (Zazie Beetz), and Arthur (Taron Egerton, (a humanoid alien with mouse like ears and tail) are at one side of the table and we see empty glasses of beer but it’s not from them. The camera turns around to see Silver downing beer as Jim explains the situation. Jim asks how did he wind up here. Silver remarks he wanted to get back into smaller crimes. He introduces them to his associate Droid 7 (Fan Bingbang (a 7 and a half foot tall humanoid robot girl) who immediately starts flirting with Arthur. Droid 7 helps Silver win fixed games using her electrical abilities. Kate dislikes Silver a lot mainly due to his thievish ways and being a pirate. (Silver remarks saying he likes her to Jim claiming he choose a good girlfriend) Annoyed, Kate reveals that Ironbeard has stolen the Centurion and is after the Gauntlet of Midas. As soon as the name Ironbeard is mentioned, Silver agrees to join revealing the two have a history together and a score to settle.

Before the crew can get any further, Ironbeard (Tom Hardy (a cyborg whose mostly robotic with a captain hat containing some alien like features, specifically a wrinkly brown skin showing a small bit of that on forearm and visible eyes)), Gurag (Chadwick Boseman (a crocodile humanoid alien with muddy green scales)), Qha’kli (Elizabeth Olsen (a teal skinned woman with four arms) and a small group of pirates burst in the casino armed with blasters.

Silver and Ironbeard get into an intense robot weapon arm fight (their arms change in weapons throughout the course of the fight) making snide remarks about each other. Gurag takes on Jim while Qha’kli takes on Droid 7. Jim tells Morph to go with the two, as Kate and Arthur are chased by pirates in a fun casino scene using some of the things in the casino like slot machines in a creative fight (Arthur tricks two pirates into playing some games and knocking them out with the handle of the machine, Kate sends one pirate flying face first into a slot machine causing the machine to spew out tokens as passerby collect the token). While fighting the pirates, Kate demands Morph to turn into a burrowing animal to find the piece but Morph refuses causing Kate to get frustrated. Arthur takes a much more tender and friendlier approach and Morph listens turning into a cute sea green rabbit/mole hybrid and tunnels through the ground in a scene where he slips and slides down the tunnels in a fashion similar to a fun rollercoaster ride and find the first piece of the Gauntlet. Morph gives the first piece to Kate. Jim barely manages to defeat Gurag after many close calls by getting Gurag’s jaws stuck into some type of machine. Droid 7 manages to barely beat Qha’kli using a electrical pulse that stuns her. The heroes attempt to escape in Jim’s ship, but Ironbeard rallies his crew after them in the Centurion. They get into an intense and fast paced dogfight while Kate and Jim argue who’s steering the ship, Droid 7, fed up with their bickering takes control and is revealed to be a very efficient pilot. However, the Centurion corners them and pulls them into a tractor beam. Silver gets a risky idea, uses their ship’s energy and Droid 7’s electronic abilities that disable their ship and momentarily stuns the Centurion. Jim’s ship begins to free fall into a wormhole which allows them to barely get away.

Treasure Planet: Gauntlet of Midas

“Please welcome Academy Award winner and straight from the underground, Ice Cube!”

Ice: People tend to take the voice acting categories for granted. Let me rephrase that: people who don’t know shit tend to take the voice acting categories for granted! Last year I was up here receiving my own award for Bounty Hamster, and let me tell you, it was a good day.

* crowd applause *

And it’s no different this year for we have five nominees that just through their voices formed these distinct and memorable characters: From a crazy witch living on the side of a volcano who can’t seem to let a grudge slide, a purebred cat who’s somehow best friends with a pigeon, a rolling alien thingy that likes to get piss ass drunk every once in a while, a rich duck who’s really just kind of an asshole, to the most radical and awesometacular badger ever. I swear, where do those punk asses who create these characters even come up with this stuff?! Who the hell even names their cat Fluffles?!

The nominees for Best Voice Actor/Actress in a Supporting Role are…

Cate Blanchett as Magica De Spell in The Number One Dime

Keith Ferguson as Flintheart Glomgold in The Number One Dime

Neil Patrick Harris as Awesomeicus in Notes From the Otherspace

Kevin Hart as Fluffles in Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive

Aubrey Plaza as Aera in Spark: Homeward

Ice: And the winner is...

These are the nominees for Best Actor in a Supporting Role:

Armand Assante as Laertes in The Odyssey: The Counsel of the Dead

Hannibal Buress as Tyler in Notes From the Otherspace

Jason Isaacs as Grand Admiral James T. Packer in The Scavenger Wars

Jude Law as Joseph Strorm in The Chrysalids
