@Rorschach Spark 3 is going to be structured a good bit like TO:H in that it builds up a bit more slowly and is perhaps a bit less action-y than the previous predecessors, but around 90 minutes in and through the last half hour, shit hits the fan in a big, BIG way.

Good to know the two biggest films of Y4 actually have the courage to hold off on a lot of the action until near the end and focus on buildup beforehand.

Hopefully that means Spark 3 is amazing.

Voltron was supposed to do something very similar.

People already forget how there's pretty much no action at all in Pillars of Eternity until well into the second act with a slow build of table-setting, and where is the praise for that. :kitschjob:

Well I haven’t read it yet so I can’t really say anything.

The great writing push starts soon.

@Rorschach I am going to plow through the plot stuff and send it all your way. I'll be then going back and filling in some more character moments here and there, though I am not going to go too crazy with that since 1) this is based on real people and events so there is not a lot of license to go wild, and 2) The film takes place over the course of only 2 weeks so there's not much room for "character development" in the classical sense.

I can’t promise I’ll get feedback to you today but I’ll definitely give you my thoughts and impressions tomorrow

That's fine. I would say that I am about 2/3 plot-wise. Taking a little break for now, but I intend to be finished with the plot by the evening. I will send it your way and then I will go back and start doing editing and filling in any minor gaps.

Not sure that's a great date for GoW2 to be honest, @YourMother the Edgelord. It's got less than two weeks before it runs into Crysis and will be competing against two R-rated horror flicks over Halloween weekend. And then it's got all the big holiday releases to cut off its legs. Honestly if I were you I'd put it in July or August. Gargoyles is delayed and ThunderCats is not good so there's not much competition.

To be honest, that makes much more sense. Also true as well.
