Just kidding

Most of the issues I had with the earlier drafts have been fixed which is a plus

But the bit where Mata somehow knows that Kronk is chasing after her and Kuzco despite us never having seeing that part still hasn't which is a minus

Screw you again Rory I was planning to use this gif too

There are two standout performances in this though

No. In hindsight you should've been in this more, Kronk.

But our blue boi is aces in the dual roles

And Pfieffer rules as Yzma, but that should be obvious to anyone

(Plus seeing Snuff Out the Light finally being brought to life pleases me.)

Also Pidge rules, suck it

Y'all are going to hate me for this, but...

Mercer gets to his feet, sword and pistol drawn, seeing his men retreating around him as British soldiers pursue them. Unlike his men, he does not fall back. Several British soldiers surround him in a half-circle and demand “Call for quarter you rebel!” Mercer, fire in his eyes, replies “I am no rebel” and calmly raises his pistol and shoots the lead soldier dead. The others charge in and Mercer, swinging his sword in one hand and his pistol in the other, fends them off, downing most with slashes and clubs as they stab at him with bayonets in the side, or cutting across his arms and legs, each one weakening him further, until finally he lunges forward one last time and is impaled in the gut by the last soldier’s bayonet as he runs that same soldier through with his sword. The two both gasp, and both fall to the ground, bleeding out on the snow side by side.

I’ve got no joke here. Just want to let everyone know just how awesome this scene is.

Why doesn’t Han Solo and Peter Parker just shut up and make out already? Geez.

Just remember that Alden had to pull a Bale and gain weight for the role, so Tommy is just biased against the overweight.

It's a great scene. Slightly dramatized but Mercer being surrounded, refusing to surrender, and being killed is all true.

Sorry that Scrooge got recast but there wasn't enough info on the person to really play with the character. So I went with Kevin McKidd for maximum Scottish obstinance.

Wait, that was the role Scrooge McTennant was supposed to play?!

Thanks a bunch @cookie.

It's hard to convey it in plot summary but I tried to establish that Coran Cornwallis was absolutely pissed at not being able to go home and that it affected his tactical judgment. First in planning a direct assault, and then in overconfidently assuming he can crush the Americans the next day.

Also him ripping von Donop a new one was something I invented a bit. But von Donop is a genuine historical asshole so he deserved it. My only regret is not being able to kill him but alas the real life person didn't die until nearly a year later.

And as an extra apology I’ve decided that Allura will be the lead of my biggest OC next year.

My quest to turn all seven of team Voltron plus Tommy Boy into Oscar nominees continues at a steady pace :sparta:

And yet still nobody gives Hunk any love what do y'all have against him huh
