BadOlCatSylvester Posted August 1, 2023 Share Posted August 1, 2023 Oppenheimer pulled a surprise upset in Turkey and stole the #1 spot from Barbie this past weekend with a far better drop. Its total is now ahead of Barbie as well. Not a surprising outcome after seeing occupancy rates throughout their opening frames, as while Barbie lost steam Oppenheimer remained full throughout. Oppenheimer also surpassed The Dark Knight Rises to become the second biggest Nolan movie in the region and should surpass Inception by the end of the week to become the biggest.
