Ezen Baklattan
Two things I notice right away: 1. This has the exact same runtime as Voltron 1 and Spark: Rising 2. Madame Y and Antigone are both in this. Hmm....

Ezen Baklattan
Green Lantern Corps: Rise of the Manhunters Spoiler A world of visual splendor with creatures of all shapes, sizes, and colors, a fun, breezy, yet still epic tone anchored by a caring relationship between the hero and a close companion, a secret world where Julie Andrews Rule? And all in a DC movie? Oh my god, it's Aquaman! But I digress. At the same time, Green Lantern Corps feels a hell of a lot inspired by modern superhero movies, but uses their strengths as a way to create a breezy, fun time. It's probably silly to say in this context, but the visual effects truly have a WOW factor. These worlds are amazing and delightful to watch unfold, and it's especially worth catching in IMAX. Props especially for the really fun and creative way the powers are used. The plot itself isn't quite as impressive, but it does what it has to to maintain our interest, including with a strong performance from Armie Hammer, who pulls off the hero's duty quite nicely. Sinestro, as well as performer Joaquin Phoenix, is arguably the MVP of the film, adding a touching "human" element and creating a strong introduction to this world. Knowing how fate will tragically go with Sinestro, I've no doubt got my eye on how he's developed in the future. I will agree with @cookie that it's probably a bit more overstuffed than it needs to be. Brie is really the only important character on Earth, and some of the action scenes could have been edited down or taken out altogether. Either way, Green Lantern offers an exciting new franchise, and I can't wait to see where it goes from here. Spoiler B 1

The other scene was decent, will be fun to see Odysseus as a villain.
