Rorschach
The points system is based on Metacritic’s grading system: http://www.metacritic.com/about-metascores On a five-star scale, each star represents twenty points. The average, based on the accumulated points divided by the number of reviews, is on a scale of 1-100. More than 60 points indicates a POSITIVE consensus, with 81+ meaning the film has received universal acclaim. Between 40 and 60 points indicates a MIXED consensus. If a film receives a three-star out of five review, that review will count as mixed since it is worth 60 points. Lower than 40 points indicates a NEGATIVE consensus, with 19 or lower meaning the film has received universal disdain. As a bonus, a film that has received only two or less mixed or negative reviews (and at least four positive reviews) will receive a CERTIFIED FRESH marker. For convenience sake I’ll include all aggregate scores in this post. Aggregate scores are not final until all reviewers have given their ratings. The first post will be updated at least once every other day. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– January One Last Time - 45 (9 reviews) Hostel: Bloodline - 38 (10 reviews) Life of Galileo - 64 (9 reviews) Wi-Fi Winnebago - 46 (9 reviews) The Study - 33 (9 reviews) Headline - 57 (8 reviews) Kaleidoscope - 33 (8 reviews) February Broadway Selects: Hello, Dolly! - 55 (8 reviews) Next Vegas - 53 (9 reviews) Medusa - 70 (9 reviews) Perfect Match - 73 (10 reviews) The Poet - 44 (9 reviews) ByteRealm - 64 (9 reviews) The Mona Lisa - 61 (9 reviews) March Out of My Mind - 57 (8 reviews) The Last Six - 58 (9 reviews) The Epsilon Syndicate: Union of Thieves - 90 (8 reviews) Artifacts: Zephyr's Crest - 65 (8 reviews) Crusader - 80 (8 reviews) April Miserable Fans - 50 (9 reviews) Veggies in the Rain: A VeggieTales Movie - 58 (9 reviews) Birds - 52 (9 reviews) Steel Streaks - 86 (10 reviews) Deeper - 53 (9 reviews) Best Friends - 64 (9 reviews) Green Lantern Corps: Rise of the Manhunters - 72 (9 reviews) May Two Lonely Bounty Hunters - 84 (9 reviews) The Drowsy Chaperone - 66 (9 reviews) Call of Duty: On Their Own Accord - 58 (9 reviews) Gold Diggers - 31 (9 reviews) In the Valley - 59 (9 reviews) June Portal - 47 (9 reviews) Psyren - 59 (9 reviews) Forever Yours - 65 (9 reviews) Splatoon - 62 (9 reviews) An Odd Road Trip - 17 (9 reviews) Wii Sports - 29 (8 reviews) One Punch Man - 64 (9 reviews) July Calendars - 61 (9 reviews) Up the Butt - 16 (9 reviews) Skyjumper - 63 (8 reviews) Scooby-Doo: Apocalypse - 69 (9 reviews) Conventional Wisdom - 52 (8 reviews) The Rich and Famous - 84 (8 reviews) Static Shock - 67 (8 reviews) August Sylvarius - 85 (8 reviews) Yin - 81 (9 reviews) He-Man III: The Horror of Hordak - 63 (9 reviews) Peak - 52 (8 reviews) September Train 38 - 64 (7 reviews) Broadway Selects: School of Rock - 53 (5 reviews) Texans Hate Zombies - 74 (7 reviews) 24 Hours - 97 (8 reviews) Bambi: A Life in the Woods - 91 (8 reviews) Dolphins - 60 (7 reviews) Psychonauts - 67 (7 reviews) October The Picture of Dorian Grey - 42 (8 reviews) This is Not a Game - 60 (7 reviews) Fantasia: The Next Dimension - 83 (7 reviews) A Woman in the Crowd - 93 (8 reviews) The Trick-or-Treater - 34 (8 reviews) November American Dragon: Flash Point - 80 (8 reviews) Homebound - 45 (7 reviews) Of Pagans and Paupers - 65 (7 reviews) Pillars of Eternity: Never Far from the Queen - 86 (8 reviews) The Winter Star - 61 (7 reviews) Lieutenant Lynx in the Third Dimension - 46 (8 reviews) Olive the Other Reindeer - 90 (8 reviews) Sabrina - 52 (8 reviews) December Help! Rorschach
Every film that currently has 2 or more reviews in the system has a score. This game year, I will probably wait until all the reviews are mostly finished before giving individual breakdowns of all the positive, mixed, and negative scores. The current films with a 90 or higher are: 1. Two Lonely Bounty Hunters - 96 2. The Scavenger Wars Part II - 95 3. The Epsilon Synidcate: Union of Thieves - 92 4. A Woman in the Crowd - 91 Edited March 22, 2019 by Rorschach
