Cruella debuted with an estimated $16.1 million internationally this weekend from 29 markets. That places the film's global total through Sunday at $37.4 million. International debuts for Cruella this weekend included $2.6 million in Mexico, $2.5 million in South Korea, $2.2 million in the United Kingdom, $1.3 million in Australia, $0.9 million in Spain, $0.8 million in Japan, $0.7 million in Saudi Arabia and $0.7 million in Hong Kong. Cruella will open in additional international markets in the coming week, including Russia on Thursday and China on Sunday (June 6).

Good holds in many markets. Korea is growing from last weekend. Hong Kong just around flat. Japan and Spain 10-15% drop. Should go for $17-19M weekend and ~$40M total depending on how LATAM holds.

Excellent hold everywhere. 

 

Switzerland (+83%), Portugal (+58%), Brazil (+19%), UAE (+18%) Korea (+9%), Spain (+7%) and Colombia (+4%). The drop was zero in Ukraine and other areas were just a touch off including Japan (-3%), Australia (-6%), Poland (-6%), New Zealand (-8%), Italy (-15%), Mexico (-16%), UK (-18%), Ecuador (-19%) and Hong Kong (-25%).

 

Added $27M in last M-S week. Give it an average 25% drops, that takes these markets to $125M Approx. France, Taiwan and Germany are only major market left. There can be several other markets that open up, basically $150M is up there to get.

so i guess best case scenarion for final total ww , would be arond 250 mill ?

Diving deep, thinking we can do

Korea - $20-25M

China - $19-23M

UK - $13-18M

Mexico - $12-15M

Russia - $12-15M

Australia - $8-10M

KSA/UAE - $8M

Japan - $7M

 

These markets have so far done $30M and can reach $99-121M. The remaining $13M markets can perhaps do $35-40M ish. 

 

Then are France, Germany, Taiwan, can hit $25-35M when they open if they open in time. So at high end $195M international is possible. 

 

DOM can pull $90-100M at high end. If something breaks out bigger, may be can have a bold dream of $300M WW. @WandaLegion interested?

Japan - $5.5M

 

Total - $108-111M

 

In these markets total till last Sunday was $72M. In rest, it had done $23M and will probably close at $35-40M. 

 

Opening in France this weekend, ~$3M. Full run may be $15M. Germany and Taiwan may be another $10M whenever open. So $160-170M. 

$300M is essentially dead at this point but can target $275M if something does better.
