Jujutsu Kaisen 0 | Crunchyroll | March 18th, 2022 | Canon Anime Film Event | Could This Be The Next Mugen Train?

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a prequel film for the popular Shonen anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. The series follows a Japanese high schooler who becomes possessed by a powerful demon and uses its abilities to fight demons for a secret agency. This film is looking to take advantage of an empty March and seeks to use a similar box office strategy to the one that benefited Demon Slayer: Mugen Train last April. Crunchyroll has announced their plan to release the film on March 18th, 2022 in 1,500 theaters in the U.S. and Canada.

if this is getting a wideish release, I really hope we got one for Dragon Ball Super Hero

It is getting a wideish release, but not really a full release.  Theaters won't be required to run full slates of shows, but just the best shows in the most prime spots.  Pretty smart actually and would be nice if more did this.

Pretty much how anime releases work in the UK, Belle is only getting 12pm and 8pm shows over the opening weekend, and 8pm shows mon-thu at my cinema
