A lot of films bombed actually. Especially local. The last local film to outdo expectations was in April... ( Most of others failed to be even in line with expectation. Autumn was very soft for all films. Since Minions in July only Hotel Transylvania 2 and Everest overperformed, Bond and Martin did good. Legend, Intern and Bridge of spies were on fire, but none of them were blockbuster level anyway. Almost every other film was from soft to total disaster Not only China is building new screens, you now In 2014 were just weak films for Russia... Also we are upgrading to IMAX/realD and other premial formats. SW7 has the most expensive tickets for a wide release ever. But usual 2D ticket price is almost steady.
