I don't see a thread about Russia, so I create it :) It's the fifth market for movies behind USA,China,France and Japan, and it will surpass France/Japan pretty quickly (2015/2016).

Some news :

The Russian and the CIS box office
(except Ukraine) set a new record in 2011, reaching $1.155 billion, which is 11.74% higher, over the previous year, when it estimated at $1.057 billion, according to Russia’s Film Business Today.

Ghost Rider 2? Russians have horrible taste. Lol.

Don't worry, it won't stay in the top 5 or top 10..Many movies will best it, it's just the beginning of the year..

Do you know much LOTR trilogy grossed? In BOM says 2 numbers for TTT (2 and 8) and ROTK (12 and 14). If ROTK already grossed 12-14 million in 2003, Hobbit can make a very good number.
