However it could underperform : The Croods, Monsters University, The Smurfs 2, Turbo....The Russian wallets are limited and they could be tired about animated movies given they're so numerous. Some of my colleagues believe it can make a run for billion RUB total ($30mln+). That would be 3x increase from the first one (345mln RUB total). First Persy Jackson movie sucked really bad. Not to mention they just butchered the book. Still the sequel will make money here thanks to huge screen count and last days of school holidays. The last weekend of August is Planes vs Grown Ups 2.
