Leyla
Why? Its opening week would fail with IMAX showings only, unless you want it to fail :/ i didnt mean Imax & nothing more I meant Imax will show only DoS for 3 weeks idk maybe the info is wrong read in our local forum DoS thread ofc I dont want it to fail its my bb You shouldn't laugh...SW is very unpredictable in Russia given the market was too small ten years ago. It could be a great success, after a lot of people didn't expect Avengers to be successful at all there, I remember this quite well. i get that SW is popular but I see max 50 but 70, really??? Cosmonaut
Didn't expect 600+ seats auditorium half full of people at 12am on Tuesday... It's a pity that CF is likely lose pretty much all big screens this weekend, legs not that bad, after all. It'll split imax screens(shows) with Captain F. $350k+ for CF on Monday. juni78ukr
Very strange official numbers for Catching Fire. 178 mln RUB or 5.43 mln with only 53% drop. Rentrak was on target with opening weekend and daily grosses but now 20 mln RUB or 600k came out of nowhere. There is no way for nearly 10 weekend multiplyer from 567k on Thursday.

Cosmonaut
My "At Least" Forecast #5 for total gross, December 5st: Name; Copies; Total gross $; The Island Of Luck*; ~1000; 3,5m The Dark World: Balance*; ~1000; 3mCaptain Phillips; ~640; 2,5m 7 main desires*; ~800; 1m *Local. **There is also a bunch of other movies, but their results not worth mentioning at all(less than 0.5m). Frozen is capable of making at least $500k in 2 days of preview this weekend. CF will have less shows than all 3 main openers(and Courier from "Heaven"), so anything over a $1,5m for this weekend would be a great result, even a mln is ok. $370k+ for CF on Tuesday.

Cosmonaut
I won't be surprised if total earnings for this weekend will be less than $12m, looks slow as hell. Last year there was weekend with only 8,9m total, Dec. 13th, there is "Frozen" on that date now, so i don't think it'll happen again to that weekend, but it surely can happen to this one. Worst weekend so far this year is Sep. 5th, $11,4m total.
