IndustriousAngel
these are actually great drops if you consider last weekend was an exceptional one (with Germany's national holiday on Oct.3rd, making it a real 4-day weekend) edit: final weekend trend: #1 - Gravity 225k #2 - Turbo 175k #3 - Prisoners 115k #4 - Rush 105k #5 - 2 Guns 85k even 2Guns with a solid hold (after staying flat last weekend), despite Prisoners grabbing a similar audience. Not bad at all! Edited October 13, 2013 by IndustriousAngel

IndustriousAngel
btw, in Austria, Rush was #1 again with nearly 60k admissions - if you compare that to Germany's 100k, it's really crazy how good Rush is doing here (Germany has 10x the inhabitants, even considering Austrians watch a little more movies per year, the number in Austria should still be much nearer 15k)

zackzack
What is GRAVITY total after Week 3? Hard to convert by using admission figures : Is there a shortcut? Edited October 19, 2013 by zackzack
IndustriousAngel
Gravity should be at about 10.9mil USD from Germany come Monday. (it's not doing that well in Austria where Rush is occupying the biggest screens)
zackzack
Gravity should be at about 10.9mil USD from Germany come Monday. (it's not doing that well in Austria where Rush is occupying the biggest screens) GRAVITY only dropped by 16% and it is not doing well? The German Box Office in general is not doing well, I think. In Germany it's doing ok; it's Austria where it's having problems (which is a very small market, so really don't matter) - this 17% drop in Austria was from an already low opening weekend; it had the misfortune to open against Rush which is maybe not a monster but at least a beast here in Austria. Because Rush is an amazing movie! It's very intense, emotional and has a very good story.

IndustriousAngel
Will level out at 17mil US$ Germany + Austria combined, maybe less if Thor snatches away the biggest 3D screens.
