They are considered as a United market And there are not many data in these region because it’s so low that is meaningless to record the number(lower than 10k dollars)(the low cinema number ,the private, the insane low ticket price<not even 0.1 US dollars per ticket>) Only few movie that is doing great here have some data As far as I know Titanic ,Avatar,Black Panther,NWH and AEG ,Fast&Furious movie have it Edited January 6, 2023 by Bruce
Sophia Jane
I do some study on Africa movie market The most impressive performence here is Titanic with insane gross that doing greater than $10m in 90s Africa region…That is the mircle, this movie is even popular in Africa countries “My heart will go on”song is the social culture thing in level most Africa countries, that’s one of the reason why it’s so successful in Africa And Superhero is also doing great in Africa too,They become popular after Tobey Maguire’s Spiderman came to Africa ’Batman vs Superman’ is the big blcokbuster hit in almost every Africa countries,Avengers Endgame is the culture event here,And Spiderman is also a household name in Africa,in a word,Superhero’s popularity is emerge in Africa too, they know superhero almost as much as American did,and For Black Panther,I don’t think is need some explain For FF series succeed in Africa,I think the series is just like Rambo,Actually Almost every America old action movie is super popular in Africa in Last century,Rambo ,Terminator,James Bond 007…..especially Rambo is increible popular in Africa,he is even some kind of america symbol in Africa country, like…when an African meet a American,he will call you “Wow ,Rambo!!” FF succeed reason is some kind of Africa nostalgia of last century classic America action movie. Avatar is also popular in Africa, the reason why is just like why Avatar succeed in other place, they never see such a movie like that And Some film series which Popular in Other place but not popular in Africa: Harry Potter, because the wizard is always the evil symbol in Africa, but Harry Potter is the justice wizard,in Africa,if a kids read Harry Potter, their parents will beat their ass and said “No you should not read the book like that!”Their feeling of reading harry potter is like..a believer of Jesus Christ reading a book which Satan is main justice character Edited January 6, 2023 by Bruce
