Brazil Box Office Thread

We ALL knew that.If you look back a few pages, we talked about this before. Most people here were aware of the preview number. It's the total at the end of it's run that counts.

Yes, but it's very different and You know. With a 16.5 million weekend, it would do more than 60 million here. With a real 5.7 million plus previews, it'll do 30-35 million at best. Edited by Ajbg

Fair enough, but that's still about 80% more than the third.

That's why I said only the total that counted. I know the OW isn't the real number so I don't expect it to do anything spectacular here. I just hope for a good enough number to keep that 1bil dream intact.

1 billion is done. It'll do 1.1 billion or more. (Unfortunately)

I wonder if it will increase in Japan.

Sadly no..

It won't make $50 mil, Japan market isn't what it used to be. Hollywood blockbusters geared toward males can hardly make money there. Godzilla is opening there next week. That'll give us some idea.

Why?

TF3 benefited from the 3D that was trendy at that time,so 70% of people saw it in 3D,giving it a big boost over TF2 despite only a slightly increase in admissions. Now Japanese people hate 3D and 3D ratio are around 20%.So you can expect a big drop.

That's a very good explanation.

Thank you.

Of course :D

So,outside of Dragon 2,is there a movie you want to see this summer? Apes 2? Guardians of the Galaxy? Another?

Yes, but In theaters none. I'm definitely going to watch some others movies, but only when they release on DVD.

I visited it 3 times.Yeah it's worth it of course, particularly at night because during the day you mostly see the fog,it happened to me twice and I didn't like it...So try to go there at night if you can.The last time was 10 years ago.

However I rarely go in this city,I'm not a fan. Many people living outside Paris (we call that La Province) don't like it considering it's polluted, too crowded, pretty dangerous, dirty and terribly noisy.

About the French language I've never met someone thinking it's an ugly language, people like it ^^

Thanks for the tip. I'm going there at night. *dream*

That's a bit sad, but I hope you'll stay with us to talk about the Brazilian Box Office,it's always good to have people living there who can explain what they see and what people say :)
