I watched it and hated it

The new version looks great and I hope it will shut the sexists.

Weird....

As for the feminine version why not, we'll see, I'm always fine with women becoming more prominent in every field :)

OW IN LOCAL CURRENCY :

DOFP : R$19m

X-Men Apocalypse : R$29m

That's really unexpected! :o It made less in $ only because of crappy ER.

Bit surprised by that spike in gross compared to admissions. Are you sure of that? I mean, ticket prices have gone up but not by that much. Perhaps more people have watched it in 3D? Good news either way.

Yes.

Probably a bigger 3D share and more IMAX.

That makes sense.

In my city the IMAX screen is always full for superhero movies and they sell really fast compared to the regular screens. I'm even surprised they aren't expanding the number of IMAX screens here.

But this increase in R$ compared to admissions still seems very high to me.

Apparently it was a big mistake! It got R$20.6m, not R$29m

Really disappointed about Zootopia :( I really loved, by far my favorite movie of the year and even the last 2 years! Brazilians, seriously ...

Zootopia was met with the biggest of the shrugs here, ouch. I just think Brazilians in general prefer their animations to stay silly. Not my own opinion but then again, I rarely agree with the general opinion I guess.
