Weekly figures. Soft OD for TMNT2. Civil War is now #5 all time in lc.

Early weekend figures, usual sources (Screendaily, Deadline, Boxoffice.com):

• TMNT2 #1 with $4.5M, 25% lower in USD and 14% in lc than the first movie.
• X-M:4 $1.7M on third weekend, not that bad considering the steeper drop last week. Total is $17M (300M lc), very close to Zootopia for the year's #5 post.
• Alice2: $8.9M total, a 2nd weekend drop of about 55%.

Weekend numbers here. TMNT2 4-day OW ended up being 18% lower in lc than the first movie's 3-day OW. Comparing 3-day openings, the drop is 26.4%; same scenario in audience. Alice2 should reach 225M lc and not much else. X-M:A's 3rd week drop is not as bad as its second so it will surpass DOFP's 316.5M lc total. Local movie QCTEN keeps its impressive pace with a light 15% decrease. Biggest disappointment is Tini, with a paltry $150K opening (wonder if it was only a limited preview?)

Lol, that is an absolutely ridiculous opening. TC made 19m of a 4.3m start and Annabelle made 19.1m from a 7.6m debut. Can TC2 make 30m? Or at least 25?

• Conjuring 2 repeats at #1, $3.3M weekend for a $16M total.
• Warcraft #2, $3.1M OW, nothing remarkable ('tis not a strong market for "adult" sci-fi or fantasy).
• Money Monster $0.7M OW, apparently it's "solid" (!)
• X-M:A had a $269K weekend for a $18.67M total.
• Alice2 total: $12.7M.
• Angry Birds total: $7.0M.
