This is the lowest grossing weekend since September 8th-10th, 2017. Next weekend should go higher, further and faster. PS looking very promising for Carol and Goose.

Over 25M ?!

What is your expectation for Endgame?

Can it pass Avengers IW?

Possibly. PS are quite strong for a first solo. Better than Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Black Panther but lower than Venom. The good news for it is that has no big competition for three weeks which puts it in a very similar position as Black Panther.

As for Endgame expecting it to be about the same as IW in lc. Right now ER is a bit better than last may but we'll see if can stay that way. The problem is that late legs won't be as good as IW's since Godzilla and Aladdin are going to be way bigger than Solo.

Will Pikachu affect Endgame here in Mexico?

I was kinda skeptical since first trailer appealed mostly the fanbase. But then second trailer was very buzzy with Holding Out for a Hero + Dubbing + Mewtwo + Omar Chaparro (local comedian featured in the movie as Charizard's owner) so I think it could affect it the same way DP2 affected IW last year

Gobsmacked with Chimuelo's performance. We should see more tentpole animated releases out of Summer 😀

I'm glad that we didn't had to wait until Captain Marvel to see astonishing performances.

Shazam! tickets now on sale; surprisingly isn't holding neither midnights or  Thursday previews. Zachary Levi coming to Mexico City on late March to promote the movie.

Hopefully can pull good numbers since apparently summer is now starting since March 29th with Dumbo. April is packed with the adorable elephant, Billy Batson, Hellboy, Llorona, local title Complot Mongol and the sequel to the 2016's hit No Manches, Frida. Everyone wants a piece of cake from Easter holidays.

What's your read on CM OW? Is it going to be big there in Mexico?

Beautiful Boy, Belmonte and El Angel all opening limited (less than 100 screens). Captain Marvel is the only wide release and heads towards $135M+ ($7M USD) lc at 4,200+ screens, more screens than AM&TW and Thor: Ragnarok. Same as Doctor Strange and less than Homecoming and Venom.

Looking to have strong midnights in less than 6 hours, bigger than Black Panther and Wonder Woman.

Holdovers losing screens and theatres all equally. HTTYD3 and Alita the ones that are holding the better.

CM should reach 400M lc, right? No big competition for 2 weeks until Dumbo arrives. That should also push Dragon 3 through the same milestone.

Yup for Captain Marvel. Possible for HTTYD3 depending on how many screens it can hold.

25M for DTrainer 3 is locked right?

Noup, is nearly at the end of the run. Should add $1M-$2M more and that's it.
