Overall presales are considerably lower than those of Multiverse of Madness and Love and Thunder final count and also below The Batman's at the same point. First Panther was a walk-up phenomenon so let's wait for the same this time and hope for it to open similar to both The Batman and Love & Thunder Thank you @Carlangonz Mexico is critical for Wakanda as Peso has held the best among all currencies. We are at 2018 XR if I am not wrong.
Carlangonz
Cinépolis Perisur Wakanda Forever (T-0 Days): 1,901/2,820 (67.41%) Comps: Multiverse of Madness (T-0 Days): 2,867/3,136 (91.42%) Love & Thunder: 2,431/3,970 (61.23%) Cinépolis Forum Buenavista Wakanda Forever (T-0 Days): 1,594/1,942 (82.08%) Comps: Multiverse of Madness: 2,754/2,895 (95.13%) Love & Thunder: 2,177/3,016 (72.18%) Seems like just o/u $30M in previews from both comps. Important to say that walk-ups are working better for Panther than they worked for Thor.
Carlangonz
Strong walk-ups so far. Two mid-tier cities in metro area of Mexico City; Coacalco and Ecatepec working excellent ahead of receiving their native Tenoch Huerta. Then there's a theater in Mérida (southern state) named Kukulkan which has many sold-outs throughout the night. Overall southern markets are delivering as expected.
Purple Minion
Go South! 🤠 For comparison purposes, Black Panther had an OW (3-day) of 171,752,994 lc and sold 3,066,169 tickets. Really good 3.1 multiplier.
Carlangonz
BOP confirms $1.5M from previews. Early Thu sales point towards $5M OD + Previews. Shall match both Batman's and Love and Thunder's openings and may go ahead.

Unless you mean WED+THU+FRI = $5M Edited November 11, 2022 by charlie Jatinder

Unless you mean WED+THU+FRI = $5M Yeah, morning seemed big enough to carry massive walk-ins but it slowed down on its late afternoon shows. Looks more on par with The Batman OD so a $4M full OD + Previews.

Will be really surprised if BP 2 is the one to make 1B. May be 750M if lucky.

Increase compared to Love & Thunder which decreased so should increase once again on Fri. Perhaps $4.8M by Saturday morning. 1 hour ago, keysersoze123 said: What are we looking for OW in pesos? 1B pesos possible for overall run? $215M-$225M for the 4-Day incl previews. It doesn't seem like a billion grosser to me. Closer to The Batman atm

Nice increase. +37% from Thu compared to +15% from Eternals a year ago and +10% from Love & Thunder. Should get the best IM from previews for a SH title this year as it aims $12M for the 4-Day + Previews. I still think could top both Batman and Love & Thunder.
Purple Minion
Wakanda Forever: $12.8M 4-day OW. Big increase from BP in lc although that was a 3-day.

Purple Minion
Superb 252.1M OW for Wakanda Forever, 47% higher in lc than Black Panther. 3.4M tickets sold, also an 11% increase. Also, best November opening ever, and probably among the all-time Top 15. 3 1

Purple Minion
CANACINE playing tricks again and reporting Wakanda Forever's OW as 254.8M lc. One Piece Film: Red took a big hit, total is 35.8M (about $1.8M). ER is the best since early 2020, by the way. 1
Purple Minion
Solid weekday numbers for Wakanda Forever, $16.5M up to Wednesday. In lc, already passed Black Adam and should be very close to The Black Phone. 1
