Alpha
'Hand Drawn Heroes' Cancelled Due to the difficulty in acquiring character rights to famous cartoon characters and giving them equal screen time under sharp conditions, Hand Drawn Heroes is unfortunately going to be removed from Y8 and moved to an indefinite release date, if at all. Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller and writer Michael Bacall are sad to depart frmom their project, but they hope that they will be able to find more interesting projects in Hollywood. This is a rather dissapointing day for Hourglass Pictures. Jacob Bowen's response to the cancellation of Hand Drawn Heroes: April fools! The film is alive and well. Ezen Baklattan
Jacob Bowen: Uwe Boll, the director of Kardashians: The World's Greatest Family and Honey Boo Boo Makes A Movie tried to pitch to us an adaption of the laughable online fan fiction of Harry Potter, MY IMMORTAL. Obviously, we refused. It's bad enough that we brought "Slit Happens" into the world, but we can't let this monstrosity pass. Boll began to attack me, and needless to say, he is now banned from setting foot of Hourglass Pictures grounds.

Blankments
I don't really want to say; it could bias certain people against what is actually a great story once you remove the licensed properties.
Ezen Baklattan
"READY, AIM, FIRE!" From Spark 2: Ignition Performed by Panic! At The Disco The song has an intense and exciting energy to it, much like the end credits sequence it plays over. ---------- Life's a giant chase, as you're coming face to face, with the secrets of the universe. And chaos is in style, so it's gonna stay a while, as everything seems so adverse. And then the day comes, where you must fight everyone just to set things right once more. So you gotta get that fight, keep 'em heating up the night, when you pass on though that coming door, When the cards are against you, and the odds are a billion to one, you've gotta start that famous countdown clock, Five Four Three Two One! Chorus: When they've got broken down, with an unsavory state of mind, Now's the time to do your thing, and leave the antagonists blind. You'll soon uncover that glory, the hero you've wanted to be, Until that moment comes to you, Just stand high and shot, "Ready.... ...Aim Fire!" The ever dark side, is gonna run and scream and hide, when they see your secret weapon shine. Be the hero that you are, and you're gonna go far, but first you've gotta save the current time. When the cards are against you, and the odds are a billion to one, you've gotta start that famous countdown clock, Five Four Three Two One! Chorus *Epic Rocking* When you've got a few minutes to save all life, there's not a chance to spare expense, It's up to you, and sometimes you alone, to be everyone's last defense. Defense! Hiccup
Exclusive Preview at Next Year from O$corp Pictures! The futuristic sci-fi film directed by Joseph Kosinski King’s of Cataclysm has just been announced by O$corp Pictures. Filming will begin shortly and the cast has been announced as follows. Josiah- Liam Hemsworth Kimberly- Nina Dobrev Logan- Jamie Bell Grace- Mia Wasikowska Jacob- Shiloh Fernandez President James Stanton- Michael Fassbender General Andrews- Mark Strong Lydia- Michelle Pfeiffer Darius- Morgan Freeman Scott- Daniel Craig King’s of Cataclysm takes place in 2084 A.D. The world is divided into four section. Irania, which is a Muslim theocracy, which dominates Europe, Africa, and Middle East. China a democracy, which dominates the Pacific and Asia. South America is dominated by Brazil mostly but houses “refugee” countries from Europe and the Pacific and these countries are either socialist states or totalitarian states. North American is ruled by the USA, which is a totalitarian state. Within the USA the rich are kept separate from the poor in large cities, which only the wealthy can live in. The poor people are scattered across the polluted rest of the country. Religion is non-existence and not tolerated (only Islam remains in Irania and Christianity and Buddhism the two remaining other religions are both very thinning scattered in the USA and China). Sensual pleasure, media and athletic entertainment, and gambling/drug abuse are the chief pleasures of the wealthy while the poor struggle with low paying and poor conditions on farmers and factories which help supply the wealthy cities. With potential war with China, environmental disasters looming, and rebellion of the lower class a constant threat, it seems like the USA like all great civilizations will not last forever. "The film plotline follows Kimberly who is taken from her family at the age of 21 to be a slave for a wealthy family living in Washington D.C. There she learns about the culture of the wealthy and the government. She learns that most of the wealth especially the younger ones are completely ignorant of the life outside of the cities. She begins to draw the attention of not just the entire city but of a boy named Josiah who is the son of the wealthy family. Meanwhile rebellion of the poor class is rising in the air around Washington D.C and Kimberly finds herself in the middle of a brewing war, which will decide the fate of the 308 year old nation." King’s of Cataclysm will hit theaters and IMAX locations in May Year 8.

Ezen Baklattan
So in the three reptilian roles that Cumberbatch played, maybe Ezen will be the only one who's actually a good guy.

Well after you pointed out the reptilian connection and had the Cillian Murphy/Armitage cameos, I figure the unofficial links had to continue. Blankments
ANIMATION CONFERENCE AT BLANKMENTS; SEQUELS AND AN ORIGINAL FILM ANNOUNCED Last night, there was an press conference for Blankments Productions' animation department. President Edward Nadny announced plans for sequels to Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Promise, Sir Thymes Time, and Bone - Solistice. People may find the latter odd, but Nadny explained that they have high hopes for the animated sequel, and a third and final film is already in production for Y10. Sir Thymes Time 2 will release summer Y9, and Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Search is currently undated. Nadny then moved onto an intriguing topic: what will be Blankments Productions' major animated release next year, in Y8? He invited Academy Award-winning director Alex Hirsch to the stage, along with Genndy Tartakovsky to speak on their ambitious project, Area 142. Hirsch thanked Nadny for the floor, and Hirsch continued, saying that after Shiverin' Gulch wrapped production, Hirsch began production on a Gravity Falls movie. However, when he began looking at the characters of the show and working out a movie for them, he became interested in what if he took them to a distant cyberpunk future? Around the same time, he met with Genndy for some story work on Bone and then Genndy mentioned that he really wanted to write a sci-fi movie. Hirsch and Genndy then decided to co-write this film. The film follows June (voiced by Kristen Schaal), a nine-year-old girl in the year 2246, who lives in a city-state simply named "Area 142." She is the niece of the ruler of the city-state, Overlord December (voiced by John Goodman), and, along with her parents, are one of the remaining twenty pure humans in the city-state. When her parents go to meet with December on a simple meeting, they are infected with a new weapon that steals their soul and places it into robots without memory of their past. June must go on the run with her cyborg butler Model Nine, AKA Ninny (voiced by Jason Ritter,) and together lead an uprising of rogue cyborgs against December's army of robots. Ninny will also try to regain his humanity, while helping June trying to free her parents from their mind-control. Genndy then began speaking, about how when the "Paperman" tech was released, he immediately wanted to do a film in that style. However, being tied up with Bone meant that he couldn't do one immediately. While writing Area 142, they came up with a great way to integrate "Paperman" tech into a sci-fi setting. All the environments and robots of the film are done completely in CGI. Cyborgs are done in the "Paperman" style, and the pure humans are animated in Hirsch's signature traditional style. Genndy then stated this film will prove to be the biggest visual feast of Year 8, along with having a great sci-fi story. Genndy and Hirsch then took a quick Q&A, which is transcribed below. What is the budget on this film? AH: Well, you see, Shiverin' Gulch became the proof that I could take this budget on. GT: Yes, this film, thanks to the merging styles, has become the most expensive animated film this production company has done. AH: Our budget is $150M. What is the target rating of this film? GT: Well, the language in the script is at a PG level, and we are aiming for a PG rating. THAT SAID, there is a very strong chance the film will be rated PG-13, thanks to the level of action and disturbing themes. AH: This film is aimed for teens and adults; we will not be toning down the story for a broader audience. Will you be voicing a character in this movie? GT: No AH: Yes Will we ever see a Shiverin' Gulch sequel? AH: You never know, but an interesting fact: Shiverin' Gulch, Gravity Falls, and Area 142 all take place in the same universe, just at different times. GT: We actually had a scene where Idris Elba's character cameos in Area 142 since he is immortal, but we ended up cutting it out since it was too distracting. What about a Gravity Falls movie? GT: This one's all you. AH: Hmmm, to be honest, I don't see one happening anytime soon, but on the bright side, you can look at this movie as Mabel and Dipper in the future. Heck, since I'm in it, Soos and Grunkle Stan are there too. However, if I did do a film, it'd probably a time travel film with the GF gang meeting characters from Gulch and 142, but I'd much rather work on original films. The Q&A wrapped up. Area 142, directed by Alex Hirsch and written by Hirsch and Genndy Tartakovsky, will be released August 3, Year 8.
