I'd say you're locked into Scott because once the film is submitted to the Festival, it's in. Any changes wouldn't make sense in the context of the film already being finished. I myself still think Scott's the best fit for my film though. It shouldn't hurt Hiccup though; Howard was nominated despite doing two films that year.
