Easily the worst movie I've seen this year and one of the worst films I've ever seen. How this shitfest even got 35% on RT is beyond me, there are so many terrible things about it. I have a whole list of gripes with this movie.

[*]The title is so redundant. Could they really not come up with a better title than something that sounds like a shovelware PC shooter? I could come up with a better title in like thirty seconds.

[*]The international title is even more redundant.

[*]There is virtually no plot.

[*]The characters are as wooden as stick figures. Hell, replacing them with stick figures would actually make a better movie.

[*]The dialogue is boring and uninspired.

[*]The aliens only appear on screen for like four seconds.

[*]Aaron Eckhart looks bored out of his goddamn mind while acting through this, which brings me to...

[*]The film is boring as shit.

[*]The visuals are REALLY hit-and-miss.

[*]It has no ending. It just stops.

[*]It's so bad that it's just dreadfully dull, there isn't even any camp value to it.

[*]Jonathan Liebesman can't make a decent movie to save his life.

[*]I can't believe Sony actually greenlighted this awfulness and that people actually bought into the marketing.

I thought this was pretty good for the reviews it got. I was interested the entire time and would not mind seeing a follow up.
