Clint Eastwood at his best. Harry Callahan is one of the most interesting characters to come along in movies. A cop who is trying to fight crime and at the same time adjust to an increasing liberal restrictions in San Francisco that don't seem to do anything but make fighting crime harder.10/10

wondering what movie the flashback seen was from, in trouble with the curve, as it showed an actual younger eastwood beating up a guy - mostly they showed his face as he was pounding a guy on the ground? Pretty Cool Scene as a glimse of a younger eastwood.

On Dirty Harry, that was a great series of movies, just like his Italian Westerns, and his older roles - Unforgiven/Gran Tranino.

and one of the greatest movie lines ever.

I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

People were growing frustrated with crime and looked at the character in this film as an hero.

Awesome movie. I couldn't help but be reminded of it when I first caught The Dark Knight. Scorpio's phenomenal. Eastwood owns. Siegel at his best his Bodysnatchers. Only drawback, the obtrusive rock score detracts from a few compelling sequences.
