POLYLOVE
So sad that PR won't cross 700M. Thanks to JP3D.
druv10
I think $50M should not be difficult for MU. PR looks $112M finish. Woah, you expect 50M. If that happens, Pixar finally joins DW and other animation franchises to break that milestone in China. Olive
I will be thrilled if MU makes more than 200M, the former biggest Pixar movie was TS3 which made only 110M yuan.

Bob Violence
Damn, JP3D still on the top. Kids/family movies do proportionally more of their business on Saturday and Sunday. Unless it's different in China, but I doubt it. Still might be a close race though.

A Marvel Fanboy
How did THG do in China? Do you think CF is in good position for a substantial gross? $29m. CF should do at least $40m, maybe 50m.
A Marvel Fanboy
Since Friday is 23M, that means MU (23M, 28%) PSA is even lower than that of Croods (20m, 20%) OD....
Bob Violence
JP is a family movie too. By that standard so are most Hollywood imports in China. Change "family movie" to "kids' movie" or "animated movie" if it makes you feel better. Edited August 24, 2013 by Bob Violence
