A 2D movie could make 700m yuan? That means more than 20m admissions. An old movie 14 years ago could make 700m yuan? That means more than 16m admissions.Average attendance per show in first week should reach more than 80.The market can't accommodate 50m admissions in a month now.

Remember, not all the 700M of Titanic or Battleship comes from April. May also contributes a lot.We have seen 2D movie doing 700M, its nothing new, why cant happen ? Also, never ever estimate a James Cameron movie, even its just a 14 years old re-release. The massive hype is there.

Right now, I am projecting 150M, though a little hard to achieve, for the next 7 days for it.

The Sunday evening performance of WOTT is much stronger than Friday or Saturday. Many audiences said its 3D effects were better than JC or Journey 2 on the Sina Weibo.150m in next week won't be too hard.

Then 300M is kinda locked and 350M is still in play.

I think if WoTT can make 50M+ in China, then it might be the deciding factor which will greenlight the 3rd movie, because it might do 100M and WB will get 25M share from there alone.

It's hard to say.WOTT's performances in developed markets including US are very bad.But some movies(G.I.Joe, Narnia, Superman and so on) had got sequels, WOTT also could get a sequel. Edited by SentryTrans
