The PSA for TDW and EP on Friday is very close. EP 7days (likely 110m+) VS TDW 3days, Should not be too far off.

 

For comparison, Hobbit AUJ 3days OW was 115M off a 35M opening Friday in Feb.

 

Thor in 2011 OD was 20M, a 30M OD for TDW would mean only 50% increase (OD-wise).

 

 

 

Now lets see if 350M happens or not.

Football is quite popular as a spectator sport, even if the domestic teams are mostly a bad joke. I think European soccer is followed more closely, but Guangzhou is in the AFC Champions League final (the first Chinese finalist in fifteen years), so people are naturally tuning in for that.

I wonder if Single's Day actually will have a negative effect on box office too ... I mean, imagine people stay home all day shopping online ...

 

It is almost certain that this year's SD will break the online daily retail sales record, by a big margin.
