A Marvel Fanboy
So the government would prefer a few big (as big as possible) HW-blockbusters and have the rest of the time for the Chinese movies?exactly. And they also allow many long-delayed small movies.

A Marvel Fanboy
Wont expect huge midnight or opening week number, but legs should be good.I would say around MI4 opening, $ 16M for 2 days, for now.
SentryTrans
By Thursday morning, there are more than 2,000 showtimes added for TA.Its OD is Saturday, It could have about 18,000 shows.
SentryTrans
What are you expecting for the OW? can it hit 20M or more?20m means more than 3m admissions, that's very hard in 2 days.
SentryTrans
Presales of TA looks not as better as MI4.TA is a smaller name than MI.
SentryTrans
You didnt really get it, do you ?The government will think the increase is already enough, and they will limit the the releases of hollywood films and thus the increase of overall revenue will slow down, very down ...Already enough? The cinemas even can't recognize 100% increasing as enough. SentryTrans
Not really. I think TASM is way overhyped by you. I don't see any difference between Spidey and other Marvel heros. I can feel the same bias view on Spidey as that on other Marvel heros from my friends, of the age mid-20s (I'm a fan, though ).TASM might not even beat TA in China. Mark my words SM3 had broken the historical OD and OW record of imported films in China, other Marvel movies didn't do.
SentryTrans
It will still do over 50 mill 50m is a joke.If this summer would keep increasing about 30%, TASM should have 80m+ in its opening week.
