WOW. Also looking at BO for the day, it crashed after its OW. Probably will not even make 150m yuan at this rate.

Top 11 of the year are all Chinese movie

11 movie cross ¥1000 millions ($140 millions) benchamark

(Only count Urban area,in rural area like village or small town we also have cinema,but not count in these data)

ps:Wechat Trend is something like Google trends,is the number which shows average search number and view Index on Wechat since last year (which has 1.2B user in China)

For example

Highest Local singer 

Jay Chou :90M+

He is the most popular local singer in

China,90M is Local Biggest Superstar level

Average popular Chinese (A-list level) local singer are :40-60M 

I’ll not list the name here since most user here never heard of them

For Foreign singer over 1M(Comps:Lady Gaga with 0.8M)

Lady Gaga:1.4M+

Justin Bieber:2.5M+

BTS: 3.13M+

Adele:3.2M+

Taylor Swift:23M+


So according to the data,Taylor Swift is the biggest modern day western singer in China,and Way ahead of others,so,¥100m won’t be a big problem for her.

 

Btw,Biggest Kpop band is Black Pink with 50M+ Index,on par with A-list local star

 

Biggest All-time Foreign Singer is Michael Jackson with 72M+
