In terms of drops, "genre" doesnot really work in China, since every movie drops pretty much randomly, all depends on qualities.

I think any hollywood movie that is likely to be a blockbuster could be considered a fiasco for making less than $60m in China.

You could be right. Last year, most A-list Hollywood blockbusters made over/close $50M from China.

 

This year $50M probably wont even get you a spot in the yearly top 20.
