XXRDJisDoctorDoom
Now that NWH has opened here, what can we expect? Endgame did almost $33M USD. Can NWH do at least half of that?

Can NWH do at least half of that? 30% theater capacity, less screenings, and not all theaters are open. There is a surge in Covid cases due to Omicron and Holiday gatherings. There is a huge chance for the government to close all theaters again. The hype is still huge though. Based on local news, theaters have never been this packed since Endgame. Long lines everywhere. Maybe $10 million+ is achievable if theaters won't close again. Edited January 8, 2022 by Franz 3

Plus, the recent typhoon delayed the reopening of most cinemas in places like Cebu. Only 2 cinemas are open but they're fully booked for several days. Issac Newton
Wasn't surprising to be honest... Locals boycotted MMFF (because it delayed NWH's release to Jan 2022). Later, Typhoon Rai hitted on Jan..... My sense of worry is failure of Local Production in MMFF (which is a big box office potential for Filipino Films). Some Theatres reported zero attendees on MMFF 2021. MMFF Gross 2021 - xx₱70M 2020 - xx₱19M 2019 - x₱955M 2018 - ₱1060M 2017 - ₱1020M 2016 - x₱374M 2015 - ₱1010M 2014 - ₱1014M 2013 - ₱1000M 2012 - x₱800M 2011 - x₱650M 2010 - x₱530M Opening Day of MMFF 2021 was ⅓ of MMFF 2020, but finally managed to surpass 2020. The entire Filipino Film Industry currently has a very bleak future.
