85th Academy Awards (24/2/13) Official Thread- TONIGHT!! NOMINEES IN THE FIRST POST

Recommended Posts

I think you a small crush on Merly Streep. You are one biggest fanboys.

 Caught red-handed. :P Meryl is just amazing. I like to think of myself as her biggest fan. ;)

Any other year and her performance would've been my least favourite of the nominees. So it's good for Meryl that Albert Nobbs also came out that year.

Would now be a bad time to mention that I liked Glenn's performance as well..... ?

Got this form ADF, so grain of salt:

the opening number involves at least Daniel Radcliffe and Joseph Gordon Levitt. They're performing "Be Our Guest." There are costumes and everything. . A woman who was interviewing people on the Spirit Awards red carpet said it.

Oh sweet jesus......

Wait, wait, wait....how much music are we REALLY talking here? When did this become the Grammys?

What have they got: This (allegedly), Aerosmith (allegedly) a few James Bond numbers for that tribute, Les Mis tribute, Chicago, Dreamgirls, Norah Jones, Presumably the other nominated songs as well, Barbara Streisand, Seth MacFarlane/Kristen Chenoweth.... It seems if I am to watch this thing I am going to have to consume much alcohol to do so.
