How close is SLOP from Dory? Is the pescao still #1 of the year?

Until August 21st:

Finding Dory: €17,447,572

Jungle Book: €16,849,211

The Secret Life of Pets: €14,435,795

With the €0.9m weekend, I guess SLOP is very close to €16m right now.

That would mean SLOP is still making quite more money during weekdays than on weekends, because if SLOP has done €0.9m during last weekend and it has done €3m since August 21st, it would had done €2.1m during August 22nd-25th period and 29th-31st combined. I know schools are still closed but the difference still seems very big.

After more than a year, 'The Little Prince'(El Principito) finally had its premiere in Spain this weekend. Wanda Films, responsible for distributing the animation, set aside a considerable amount of room for the film, 258 in total, but I read on another forum that advertising was nil. :(

Any possibility of 'El Principito' debut in the Top 3 in Spain this weekend?

I am saddened by this news. Staying out of the top 10 is a horrible result, especially with 258 rooms.:(

I would like to draw two questions: What is the level of popularity of the book 'The Little Prince' in Spain?

And what is its source as saying that El Principito will be out of the top 10?

Hug!

It is quite known. I do not know if today is mandatory, but I had to read it at the school (20 years ago). However, we all know that it is a complex book. Probably this side of the book make it harder to be more popular. Then add that we study essentially Spanish Literature and Spanish authors. And when we become adults we read nothing or close to nothing.
