Its a shame Holy Motors went home empty handed. I was really positively surprised by that movie, I put it on expecting something insufferably pretentious but what I got was a wildly entertaining ride with a wicked sense of humor. I cant believe the artsy pricks of Cachiers du Cinema voted it as their favorite from 2012.

I can see some good nomination for Inside Llewyn Davis (Best Picture, Screenplay, maybe for Goodman and Best Director (this will be rough), but that's it... maybe a few tech, which I highly doubt... maybe score...not sure).

 

Oscar nominations I mean.

I'd say, judging by the reactions, that Screenplay is probably a lock for Inside Llewyn Davis. All we needed were excellent reviews and we got them. I'm kinda worried about the distributor though.

I'm glad the Coens are having another great film. It's not really surprising though.

The Past is getting solid reviews also but it seems it's not in the same level as A Seperation. But not many movies are anyway.
