Despite it being incredibly dated in 90s references, it still holds up, mostly thanks to the excellent depiction of Goofy and Max's relationship. If it came out today in theaters, I'd probably cry at a few points. A good, heartfelt animated movie; if it was counted in the Renaissance, it'd be upper-middle tier. A
