  1. no the target audience is clearly women and gays. Like this is obvious from the online reaction to the film lol. Conservative heterosexual men generally don't like films with female protagonists, especially women of color, regardless of if thy are strippers.
  2. LOL Scorcese and Soderbergh have made a career of films about criminals and lowlives but god forbid the film is about women lmao
  3. Her image was very damaged by that though. Her music and movie career declined after that mess.
  4. Hollywood is hypocritical. Hollywood celebrated Roman Polanski for years and only recently stopped and he was actually convicted of raping and drugging a 13 year old. With Woody I know it’s mainly allegations but with the MeToo movement Hollywood has had to reassess their support of these men. I think the guy having an affair with/marrying the barely legal daughter of his long time girlfriend makes the allegations believable to many people. Your also right that Ronan Farrow, who was one of the main journalists behind the MeToo movement being very anti-Woody Allen doesn’t help matters.
  5. Imaging being a hater and not wanting to see JLo nominated lmao . I hated on JLo after her Motown performance at the Grammys but I’m a Stan again. All is forgiven Jlo! #JLooscar
  6. Lmao at “it’s definitely not a good time to be a nazi.” Tbh it actually looks pretty good. Hopefully it isn’t completely comedic though.
  7. the title reminds me of all those indistinguishable Bond titles from the Pierce Brosnan era that nobody would remember in a trivia game
  8. mm in the trailers there was a scene promoting asking for consent before you kiss someone. I do agree the swearing is a bit excessive. I don't think 11 year old boys actually talk like that lol.
  9. Honestly the look that's currently popular in China Marvel would never cast as a lead in a superhero movie. No offence to China.
  10. yes it's very sad. but Lin was very involved in the movie and Quiara Alegría Hudes who wrote the book for the broadway show wrote the script. don't see why it has to be niche. If it's marketed well it could be moderate hit I'm predicting 70 million domestic right now
