  1. Thing is, I did enjoy the movie overall, I just didn’t really feel any connection with most of the characters other than Paul. Also, I feel like the ending was a little too small scale for me. That’s it. I’m still looking foreword to part 2.
  2. So apparently, on social media, NOT thinking this movie is a masterpiece and the greatest thing ever makes me a trash person and I should stop watching movies, haha. I love humanity.
  3. I don’t know. Something about it just felt, off. Sure, it looked really great and all the technical aspects are there. Really good set designs and overall look of the movie. I liked the designs for the ships/vehicles they ride around in. BUT The story and characters felt cold to me. I didn’t really care about any of these characters except maybe Paul. Some of them are barely on screen. I don’t know. Like I said, it just felt kinda cold and emotionless. Also, I didn’t really like the way it “ends”. It was too small of an end and didn’t make me feel like I was excited to see what happens next. Don’t know how well that’s going to play with general audiences. I’ll watch it again and see if it gets better for me.
  4. I’m always looking foreword to a new Batman movie and this is no different, but damn did that trailer WOW me. This looks soooooooo freaking good to me. That shit where he’s walking towards the guys shooting at him was bad ass and the last part with the Penguin is great.
  5. The only problem I have with TND is the ending. It felt like they wanted to have a big Spy Who Loved Me type ending but then just didn’t lol Same with DAD. The actual climax feels too small compared to the whole ice palace sequence with Bond being chased by the laser and the car v car action.
  6. I just want them to let Bond have a little fun in these movies. NO, they don’t have to be OTT goofy, with crazy CGI stunts and gadgets like an invisible car; but damn, inject a little humor back into these things. Enough with all this super serious, super personal interconnected story lines. Bond is not Bourne.
  7. As someone who doesn’t care much for the sequels I thought that looked really good. Of course, we’ll see what happens with the full movie but at the moment I’m optimistic.
  8. For me it was pretty quick. After my first viewing of Reloaded I was like, ehhh I don’t know lol
  9. Just saw this a couple of hours ago. Really enjoyed it. A lot of fun with some good laughs but also quite sweet and emotional in parts. One thing I like was that they didn’t overdo it with all the video game references(characters, vehicles, weapons etc..) from actual games. Visually it looked great; even with all the stuff happening on screen when he put the glasses on. Loved all the cameos and Easter eggs as well.
  10. My buddy knows the guy in that scene with Harley. He’s was like, that lucky SOB got to have Robbie’s legs wrapped around his head for multiple takes lol Overall I enjoyed it but I did think it got a little slow in the middle. Really enjoyed the whole ending though.
  11. The trailer for it played in front of JC and my wife, who knows nothing about Dune at all, turned to me when it finished playing and said: ”That looks really good.” I wasn’t expecting that lol
  12. Jungle Cruise Rather enjoyed it. Thought it was quite fun. DJ and Blunt were really good together. I hope it does well enough in theaters and on D+ to justify making another one. B+
  13. Really liking what I'm seeing from this so far. Looks like it will have a nice mix of humor and seriousness like the first one did.
  14. I’m down for any movie staring the Rock and Emily Blunt. It looks like a lot of fun. This will be the first movie of the summer that I’ll be seeing in theaters.
  15. This felt like two different movies for me. This first 2 acts were like a 8/10 while the 3rd act was more of a 6/10. They should have stuck with the overall tone of the first 2 acts for the whole movie just slightly ramped up a bit in the 3rd act with a bad ass fight between Natasha and Taskmaster. Now that I think about it, they were clearly foreshadowing the whole ending on the floating base by having Natasha watching Moonraker early in the movie lol.
  16. The Tomorrow War - B+ Over all I thought it was a solidly entertaining movie. Most of it centers around Pratt and his daughter character wise. Most of the other characters are fairly one dimensional but it was fine as they were mostly meant to be supportive characters. The action was pretty good, especially the sequence after they first time travel and the big sequence at the base in the middle of the ocean. The design of the aliens was pretty cool as well.
  17. I’m not a big horror guy but this looks REALY good to me. I enjoyed the first so I’m down for this.
  18. I’m always up for more Indy. I liked the opening sequence of Skull(yes, including the fridge lol). For me, the middle of the movie is kind of dull and the end was underwhelming. I enjoyed the jungle sequence and the fight in the middle of the “big damn ants!”
  19. Army of the Dead - B- I liked the opening sequence and the 3rd act action was pretty fun but that WHOOOLE middle part was long and dragged. Also, all that in focus/out of focus blurry back ground stuff was kind of annoying.
  20. Finished Resident Alien. Really enjoyed the show. Everyone does a great job with their characters. A Without Remorse - Fairly decent action/thriller. Nothing I’d ever feel the need to rewatch though. B- Mortal Kombat!!! Lol. It was ok. Dialogue and acting was pretty mediocre. Fight scenes were mostly good. The best ones were the first and last fights. B- Patiently waiting for Superman and Lois to come back on lol
  21. This looks like the most bat shit coocoo for Cocoa Puffs crazy thing ever and I CAN’T FUCKING WAIT TO SEE IT!! Lol
