I responded to a post on Twitter about BoPs weekend and how the combination of VD and Presidents’ Day helped to keep it from dropping harder than it would have. The guys response to me was..... Good bye Then another guy told me that I just don’t “get it” when it comes to box office, and that it’s -48% drop is really good because its a holiday and people are really busy traveling and stuff. LOL!!! Denial. Not just a river in Egypt -

First 4 movies were good to great After that it did get a little flip floppy. I think Dalton’s movies are pretty good and Goldeneye/Tomorrow Never Dies are two good back to back movies. -

I’d like them to inject just a little more fun into the movies and not be SOOOO serious. I think they balanced that pretty well in Brosnan’s first two movies. -
Saw it earlier tonight. Thought it was really good. Was pleasantly surprised by how well the more serious/emotional moments worked. Smith and Lawrence were just as good as ever and the younger cast worked well also. The action wasn’t as big as in the 2nd movie. Felt more in line with the first movie which was fine. It worked.

I’m enjoying it, for the most part, so far but I’m confused by the whole time period thing. I just watched the 4th episode and at first I wasn’t sure what was going on lol. I figured out the whole ball sequence is a flash back to how Geralt becomes bound to Ciri and all but the part with Yennefer confused me when she said she was tired of doing what she was doing for 3 decades. So was everything she was going through in the first three episodes a flash back as well? What parts are actually taking place in the same time line?

When she’s talking about finding other people that’s probably referencing what they discovered in the first movie. She wants to help whoever they can find. Looks good over all. I just hope they adhere to the rules they’ve already set up unlike the first movie did in the last act. -

I just want Craig to go out on a high note both quality and box office wise. Which would be a nice change compared to all the previous Bonds. -
Prior to the pre sales I had TFA doing something like 700/800/1.5b. I didn’t expect it to do over a billion OS alone. That was kind of crazy to me because no other SW movie had even come close to that. To me, what TFA did is the exception for SW movies not the norm. What TLJ and TRoS are doing is closer to what I expected lol
-
Very solid number for TRoS.

Just got back from seeing it. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie. look forward to seeing it again My son, who didn’t like TLJ, liked it as well. He didn’t think it was great but he liked it much more than TLJ. Oh yea. The Tenet trailer was ok. It looks like Inception but playing with time instead of dreams.
