I still have a hard time believing that Green Lantern was directed by the same guy that successfully rejuvenated the Bond franchise not once, but twice. Seriously. GL and Casino Royale have the same director. Makes no sense.

It just kind of figures that of all the $90 million openers, this would be the one that opens close enough to be fudged. If this were at $91-95 million it would be way too much to fudge. It's hilarious regardless.

I'm speaking domestically. Internationally DOFP is kicking all kinds of ass. I'll let DOFP slide as a blockbuster domestically because I like it more than anything else I've seen this ye- I mean, because of the lack of IMAX.

$250 million seems fair with all the 3D and IMAX and what not.

I don't consider either blockbusters. The only two movies I'll call a blockbuster this year are Cap and Lego.

Which really annoys me. Why can't we just count the Thursday night previews with fucking Thursday and let the Friday number be whatever it makes from 12:01 onward?
