Its out on dvd?Im watching JC right now. Its a struggle. Too many stupid names, boring 'action', weak acting and a fairly pointless story that makes little sense and gives me no reason to care. Im half way through and dont know who anyone is and why i should care about who they are.

Thanks Rth. Woohooo...I called BA holding steady on Saturday. Just think Battle LA although Mem Day will cushion the fall.BS may not even see a significant increase on Saturday. I'm too lazy to check but Battle LA did the same thing if I recall, it held steady on Saturday. This movie has a BLA feel to it. IMO. Rth and other insiders derive their estimates based on morning/afternoon returns and extrapolate from there. The fact that the Fri number for TA is lower than that number could mean an anomaly occurred Friday night. I am trying to think of shocks and the only one I can think of are the NBA playoffs.

I thought the bootleg issue was going to affect TA but it didnt, ostensibly. Not sure that had a major impact but certainly an issue with films that release internationally first. Thats where the bootlegs come from...overseasThe biggest thing it had going against it was that opened overseas to meh WOM. It had over a month for the apathy to circulate. The other issue is that it lent itself to big time Piracy. So many people have watched it on bootleg or just simply downloaded it already.

Well, I guess that answered my question as to the quality of BS.Well, I don't know about "better" ... but I'd probably watch John Carter again before I watch Battleship again.

Alot of folks believe the WOM will make it trend more towards SM1/IM1. I'm not sure. What I've been saying the past 9 days is true today. Even so a $55+ 3rd weekend is AMAZING.TA is tracking closer to Iron Man 2 than any other movie.

The final prediction in my signature block is based on an IM2 trajectory. It's been following IM2 since last Thursday (9 days!).I know but its behaving like IM2 which is shocking to me. WOM on this is insane yet drops are pretty much in line with IM2.

Is anyone less certain about $600 mil. I'm sticking to $590 mil and hope I'm at least $10mil too low.
