Since SLP is also a romcom it could likely do good business during Valentines Day as well

With JLaw's SNL hosting on the way as well and possible Golden Globes win, SLP is in for a good box office run. People who were complaining why SLP didn't get a wide release from the get-go will likely realize it was a wise decision from Weinstein since he let Les Mis and Django pass (and to some degree Zero Dark Thirty). Hate him or love him we can't deny how good he is as a strategist

Life of Pi dominated tech categories just like Hugo last year so it will likely win Visual Effects easily

Not a fan of Snow White and The Huntsman but I think it deserves its Visual Effects nod, technical side of the movie is very polished the story and attack is just dull Glad Mirror Mirror got a nomination for Original Costume!

Yeah I actually don't mind 20 minute or more trailers, I like gauging reactions from the people. I actually get disappointed when there are few or when I enter the theater a little late to catch them all

Good to know I'm not the only one who feels happy when there are long lines in the theaters haha. I know most people are annoyed with long lines and the waiting but for me I like it because business is doing good even though I don't have a stake at it lol
