Nice. What do you think? Just watched it again in 3D last night. I needed a break after a long day. Funny thing though was that there was a line to watch The Mistress in the same cinema complex and I could've sworn there were more people in line than those that watched Dredd.
Just looked up what its all about. Sounds interesting and may watch it when it comes out on home video. But last movie I saw with Ranbir and Priyanka was meh... Yeah saw that on BOMojo after posting but it's in top 10 in some BO list.
You won't be disappointed about the action sequences. . And yes the trailer didn't do justice to the movie at all. It's a shame because this movie deserved a lot better marketing effort IMO.
After FF6 I don't doubt. Pitch Black was good, but Chronicles was a mess IMO. The franchise needs some boost to succeed.Could it be used to fill the November hole Neo mentioned?
Ted was like last years Bridesmaids to me. Neither was on my radar but when they arrived it just seemed like everyone was talking about them. SWATH was not on my radar and i usually like those type of movies, but the marketing definitely captured my attention. It made me want to watch it. My best friend is not a fan of the genre but I was surprised when she mentioned about wanting to watch it. Legacy was always on my watch list, but the marketing campaign while everywhere (it definitely wasn't for lack of trying) just didnt seem as good. Still got more excited as the movie got closer but it probably wasn't because of marketing.Personal experience isn't the best way to gauge its performance though so.... Anyway was just thinking out loud. Probably never know how much marketing affected bo. Could have been the Kristen fans, Hemsworth fans or both plus the marketing.
Didn't follow Ted as much but when it came out it basically looked like a breakout to me. Everyone was talking about it. Ted was a surprise and it didn't seem to be marketed as heavily. And if it was I didn't notice it. And there always seems to be a surprise breakout comedy. And Ted was a better movie than BL or SWATH IMO. And yeah I think the marketing for SWATH was much better.
I wonder how much of the 46M difference between SWATH and BL is due to better marketing campaign?
IMO BL was better but the marketing for SWATH was incredible. It was so good that I even bought the blu ray despite my better judgement. I just really like the cover
Haha Liman's craziness probably cost a few $$$ but feuds about such as Gilroy probably cost a lot more in terms of wasted time and intangibles such as goodwill, Damon not wanting to commit is a perfect example. Liking the lineup for 2013. FF6, KA2, DM2, Oblivion, Ronin.
