  3. This will make it past 100m.. Thats nearly almost certain (unless the economy collapses).
  4. 1 The Hobbit2 The Hunger Games3 John Carter4 Snow White and the Huntsman5 Titanic 3D6 Brave7 Dark Shadows8 The Dark Knight Rises9 Lorax10 The Avengers
  5. It did really strongly for a sunday here, pulled some pretty big afternoon crowds. And thats with the extra screenings due to its run time. I'm thinking more like $3.5-$5 now
  6. Great! Both are expected to hit $20! Continues the great start for 2012!!
  7. Its performing very strongly here, but i'm thinking more $3-$4m, but I only know my sites friday number atm
  8. as long as feb and march can hold, then this year will have a nice ticket sale rise!
  9. So how much do people think Chronicle, Man on a Ledge and The artist will do here?
  10. Anyone seeing the advance screening for Any Questions for Ben tonight? I saw it last week and its a really good film
  11. Everyone is being cheaper? And things like the $10 optus tickets at village definitely would have helped. And considering GU/Event is owned by village, its crazy how big they are.
  12. 1 The Hobbit2 Snow White and the Huntsman3 Titanic 3D4 John Carter5 The Hunger Games6 Brave7 The Lorax8 Dark Shadows9 The Dark Knight Rises10 The Avengers
  13. I'll be going to the midnight one in melbourne at southland doubt it will be too busy though.
  14. Descendants was the highest here, followed by UA and then hugo.Ahh, I forgot knox, I don't think melbourne central was that big though?
  15. The top 2 in melbourne are chadstone and southland I believe :)Hugo dominating down here, A few best men above underworld too
  16. Hopefully it just continues to go up! At least cinemas should be happier to play it then the artist..
  17. 1 The Hobbit2 Snow White and the Huntsman3 Titanic 3D4 Brave5 Dark Shadows6 John Carter7 The Hunger Games8 The Dark Knight Rises9 Lorax10 The Avengers
  18. Both Hugo (3D in particular) and Descendants were really busy today. A Few best men, J.Edgar and Underworld are gracing our screens from tomorrow, A Few Best Men #1?
  19. whoops thats what I get pulling it from an article in a different thread :PAwesome for both Descendants and TTSS though
  20. The Descendants $2.6m from 213 Young Adult $522,000 from 298 TTSS $1.6m
  21. Pretty much as I was thinking Great for TTSS it looks like, no idea how many theatres its in though at the moment.
  22. TF3 had the best 'in your face' 3D, Avatar had the best 'that looks beautiful' 3D And I much prefer the type of 3D where things just look more real/look much nicer, instead of the 3D which is just in your face. Nonetheless, TF3 was rather amazing.
  23. We've had lots of people come into work trying to use the tickets even though they don't work until February Its an absolutely fantastic deal, and I see village really taking a larger share in Victoria for the next 2 months Nonetheless, this weekend is shaping up to be interesting. At my site, The Descendants is #1 so far this weekend, with Journey 2 coming in second place. Darkest Hour is getting about 35% of the business that Journey is getting, with most films easily beating it. The Muppets is holding strongly and TGWTDT is still pulling in the crowds
