As you mentioned 30 Rock > Rules of Engagement if you want a lighter comedy staring Patrick Warburton, who was Puddy from Seinfeld.
Here is one episode to watch on Netflix to decide if you are interested.... as this is one show in the middle when the show has developed.
Rules of Engagement:
Season 4, Episode 2
Snoozin' for a Bruising
TV Episode - 30 min - Comedy | Romance
7.7
Revenge (1990)
Directed by Tony Scott. With Kevin Costner, Anthony Quinn, Madeleine Stowe
A good violent revenge movie to be seen with the extra benefits of ...
Tony Scott Directing Before the Shaky Camera
Kevin Costner, when we was a giant star from 1985 to 1995
Anthony Quinn - a huge star of yesterday
And a 30 year old Madeleine Stowe who always was beautiful but was stunning in her late 20s/30s. And a Revenge Movie, Not the TV Show.
Well only the first one bothered me...as I knew what jealous/annoying member posted that. One who I will not out and will stay an un-named....Not to be outed by me!
and then I had to explain it later to a different user who asked what that was, to be polite.
well some of the good theaters in the USA are starting reserved seating, which of course they are charging more for. So you have to pick your seats before hand.
For some reason the site thought it was a good idea to have the threads rated 1-5 by users, if they want.
I said that this was a bad idea, as it would be used by haters more than for serious replies.....

and now we are up to 3 - 1 Star Reviews? Could it be because I started this thread????
Well I think the people that are free on weekdays...or aren't working the standard 9-5 job, are a separate group....As compared to night going movie people.
But also, some people just don't like being by themselves....So that is the other side of the story...
OK I get that...but still even if we don't talk about the movie...as with some people it is just, liked it or didn't like it....I get lonely leaving the movie, especially at a mall, when everyone else is coupled up.
PS. As you said you have a girl, you have the best of both worlds, see the movie alone...and then go see the girl/wife, when you want.
I am torn between going alone and 1 person...
As I don't mind going to a movie by myself by I would like to be with someone after the movie, to talk about the movie...or to go out and get something to eat.
Don't think so? At Movies where I am in Hollywood, I hardly see anyone sitting alone. Maybe 5 % of the time, and that is usually in the afternoon when it looks like the person was out shopping.
Also when I am leaving movies, I usually see couple or groups coming in...and rarely people alone.
Yead Mixed between Excellent and OK, and Averaging out to Very Good ...or a B. Which is Fine!
