    Yeah, that’s absurd. Teachers of very young kids should act like human beings with lives. Asking them to no-comment about what their lives are like on a very simple level is more damaging than helpful. If a teacher actually did something inappropriate, that can be handled at the building or school district level - - it doesn’t need a state law.

    Will Smith acted like an asshole last night and certainly earned a lot of criticism. I do take his apology at face value though. I parse celeb apologies pretty hard. This one left out the sly if-you-were-offended shit. His acknowledgement of what set him off managed to explain without trying to excuse.

    Not sure why anyone would give Will Smith tough guy points for last night. He hit someone much smaller and used profanity like he was a high school sophomore showing off. Not sure why anyone would give him gosh-he-loves-his-wife points when he laughed at the joke and he didn’t mention her in his speech. I have no knowledge of whether Will Smith is a good guy or not. He was not last night.

    If Disney’s decision to keep Turning Red on D+ allows Sing 2 to continue so unfettered that S2 passes Eternals on domestic chart, it will be tragic and hurtful.

    There’s some reason to believe that Omicron is going to hurt a lot of people. There’s some reason to believe Omicron won’t be “that bad” relative to other Delta strain. Regardless… Get vaxxed and boostered for everyone’s sake so we can watch a lot of movies together.

    Hawkeye ads are all over sporting events. Eternals still present there. I know the ABC/Disney/ESPN synergy is part of that. I can never decide if ad blitzes mean “Yep, they’re pushing a winner” or “Damn, they’re propping up a loser.” (referencing Porthos post)

    Yep. Methodical hunter Kraven coulda been a great angle with the right casting. I’ll mark out for multiverse craziness, but Spider-Man vs. weird crimelords while he tries to pay the rent is more my bag.

    Thor shows up here or does L&T resolve that? Do we see Rocket’s “origin”? (High Evolutionary?) How quickly is search for Gamora/integrating new Gamora resolved? Moondragon? Nova references? Does end set up new roster for post-Gunn era?

    A financially successful Eternals wouldn’t have meant a fast E2. CA4, Fantastic Four and Blade are confirmed, but two of those will already spill into 2024. Shang Chi 2 in 2024? New Hulk and Nova are rumored. So, Thunderbolts? A5? plate is full for good or bad. (Apologies to Tele for showing him that future.)
