    It's probably been said in this thread, but one could argue that TDK made its OW because of Ledgers death.One does not simply TRIPLE it's predecessors OW.Things like this effect the box office - either way, Warner Bros made more than enough off of TDK, and they certainly aint gonna go broke on the $400m or so this is gonna make, so who cares if it missed out on 30m OW!

    Saturday was always going to be massive, and will play a big part in just how high the OW figure goes.From what I gathered my works two sessions after 10.00 were pretty full as well - we've only ever had sessions that late for Potter and we sold about 10 tickets the entire OW.

    Not a bunch of cheapies, a bunch of smart people. I almost never pay full price for movies. It annoys me beyond belief when people complain about ticket prices on full-price days - YOUR MOVIE IS GOING TO BE OUT FOR WEEKS, DONT BE A FUCKING WHINGER, AND JUST GO ON TUESDAYS! Whats frustrates me even more is when people show up 5 minutes before their movie starts on a Tuesday and complain that its full, or that they have bad seats.

    Keep this in mind: TDK had 2.3m Wed OD for a $14m 5-day (11.7m 4-day)Realistically, it could do about the same, $13-$14.5 is my range right now (Saturday should be much bigger, but then again the OD probably should've been too)We'll just have to wait and see.
